维开元二十六年，岁次戊寅，闰八月丁卯朔十六日壬午，皇帝若曰：於戏！古之帝女，下嫁诸侯，以正婚姻之懿纲，昭肃雍之令德。咨尔临晋公主，蹈和成性，体顺为心。颇协生知之敏，更承师氏之训。柔明益著，淑慎攸彰。兼四教而不违，勤六行而无斁。近日云吉，嘉礼有期，宜穆彝章，载光册命。今遣使侍中豳国公牛仙客、副使黄门侍郎陈希烈持节礼册。尔其克遵法度，用广徽猷，发明阃德，垂范于后。可不慎欤。
